Bush/Cheney simply don't care about pollution. They have the misguided notion that pollution = profits. It doesn't. It kills longterm everything. But consider their constituents. No not the people the heavy polluting industries. They're real villains. I think half the people who voted for them regret it now. If not they will when the whole story comes out. even honest conservatives are going to back away from this gang before long. Moderates already have. Christy Whitman ought to be ashamed of herself. She's going against her own beliefs parroting Cheney's scorched earth policies. Someone ought to drop Agent Orange on Cheney. What a big turd he's turned out to be, and I used to respect him too.
