thanks - but who cares about EPS when you're not generating cash? Notice that LG is fully paid up until YE10 - that's a big part of the sales base that's no longer cash in.

Not certain I quite understand your question, but my opinion is eps is an integral part of driving the share price. Not quite what I expected from Samsung, but 400 million received in 18 months and credited over a 4 year period at 25 mill a quarter is pretty good. We'll see soon on LG and I expect at least 400 million from nokia.

after mid-2010, when Samsung pays up for 10yrs of shipments (to 2012), where is the next honeypot coming from?

I would think there will be fees for 4G coming in at some time and I hope I won't be concerned where idcc is 10 years out. mo. .. nic
