Techno --- Since I just got out of the WebTV presentation, this release is especially interesting. Tim Bucher mentioned DSL and ADSL in every other breath, and then would add, "and other technologies." But always DSL by name. Was he referring to the need for highspeed Internet in addition to the cable connection being used for the TV portion? I didn't have an opportunity to ask. On the other hand, was he referring to an all-copper access similar to what ImagicTV's announcing? I'll try to find out. One other comment that caught my attention, "VDSL from the node --- distance isn't as restricted as earlier thought." Mor e puzzles to solve. Hot topics: DSL (UADSL, G.Lite, etc.) and fiber optics (massive ads for Pirelli, Ciena, and Tellabs) Later -- Pat
