Very good points made here. Thanks for posting.

In his entire term, I have never seen him speaking off the cuff where he was anything near eloquent. As a matter of fact I question his overall intelligence to begin with.

We don't really know anything concrete about his education or his scholastic performance at any point in his life. And there are more questions than answers regarding how he gained admittance to the universities that he attended. So much of his life somehow seems to have been programmed, with the results being very public, but the path to attaining those results shrouded in shadow.

One thing I have noticed in his off-the-cuff speaking in front of crowds is that he has the mean-spirited habit of making fun of people if it appears that doing so would bring favor from the crowd. One fairly recent example occurred when someone in the crowd asked him whether the administration would allow gas prices to rise before the election. He started out by answering soberly and then apparently decided that degrading the questioner would be to his benefit. He then he became extremely sarcastic and condescending toward the questioner, while the audience tittered. It's a very ugly habit that he employs frequently, and it is extremely unpresidential to boot. Kindness and courtesy are definitely not his strong suits.
