What is Hotline and what would it do for me?

I use Waterhouse and their quotes stink because they buy them from quote.com. They are useless for options! I'm going to write a letter to the head of their web service with a list of complaints and suggestions. Their quote service is a major complaint.

This is what I've learned:

In addition to quote.com, with the awful options quotes, there is pc quote that has a web based service called MarketSmart. This is limited to less than 1/5 the number of quotes I can get in a portfolio on quote.com, but it's cheap and it might be a good alternative, for a click-to-update real time service.

The support lady at PC Quote is anti-Mac and very arrogant. I made a small pitch anyway, but should PC Quote ever ask me, I will tell them quite firmly that I think she should be fired.

With the lease or purchase of Linnsoft software, you can get dynamic quotes from Interquote and other services. I'm going to spring for that, to test it. It's more expensive but should be more accurate, being dynamic, and also should include intraday charting in real time. That is something I need to verify, however.

I run a G3 300 Tower and would wish for a G3 400. :)
