Our support of certain types of agriculture could certainly be directly linked to funding debilitating obesity, heart disease, diabetes etc.

This is ridiculous. We can support whatever sort of agriculture you wish and that funding will never be DIRECTLY linked to "debilitating obesity, heart disease, diabetes etc." Eating is at least a bit more of a direct link here to these diseases - overeasting in particular. But since leftists are commonly self-ignorant, they cannot see the link between themselves and their self-inflicted problems.

Can you actually not see this linkage between food and disease?

I certainly do. You do not. The linkage between food and disease is not agricultural funding (mercy!). The linkage is in the behavior of overeating and failure to exercise regularly.

Do you think obesity is created from thin air? Ooops.

Well, given the amount of obesity in America, coupled with the apparently inexhaustible supply of thin air between your ears, I think I understand how you came to your ignorant conclusions here.
