Allen, you are right this time.

Zip is a very different product than SparQ. It is simply a super floppy whereas SparQ is a "HDD to go". Data are kept more reliably than in SparQ. So SparQ is not a Zip-killer. I wouldn't argue if people called SparQ a "Jaz-Killer". If Jaz media is $45 per disc and drive is $239 then I will go for the Jaz but right now I am going for a SparQ.

The real competitor of Zip is LS-120 (not much hope since the poor marketing strategy) but HiFD (working prototype is available but not release to public until next year) may creat the biggest threat ever to Zip since its creation in 1995.
