Dave - I have done some digging on this and I don't think MSFT has any flexibility in how they recognize this unearned income. It is not "funny money" - it is a real revenue recognition of future payments which the customers are obligated to pay through Select agreements and Platinum agreements. MSFT can not "move" this money unless the customers take delivery of the products and services early. If they do that, then the income legitimately moves forward, just like any other sale.
