Watch out for the tulip syndrome. I read through the INTC posts here periodically, and they are getting more and more bullish. Not a good sign when the average guy investing thinks that INTC is the 'cats meow' because they have INTEL INSIDE. There are just too many 'smart investors' and now, not so smart investors touting INTC. Anyone here invest in IBM in the late 1960's? The never ending growth scenario for INTC now was the same envisioned for IBM back then.

The capitalization of INTC is 880-890 million * 122 = $108 billion, almost 1/30 the GNP. Tulips sold for thousands before they sold for next to nothing. Interestingly before the tulips sold for next to nothing, they doubled and doubled and doubled, so that everyone thought, well, they will double again. Maybe INTC has another double, to a market cap of $200 billion. For a manufacturing company, not a natural resource company, $108 billion has to be the one of the highest caps in the world.
