Dow, Mitsui evince interest in Hindustan Organic

Multinational companies like the American Dow Chemicals and the Japanese Mitsui have represented to the government, about their interest in picking up equity in the public sector chemical giant. These two companies join ICI who had earlier shown interest in the PSU. HOC is one of the numerous companies that the government has planned to disinvest. Center holds 58.6% in HOCs Rs672.7mn equity and is planning to offer 26% to the private sector.
