We will not have to wait for digital tv for axc to profit from DST. DST will play a large role in video-on-demand services which companies like Time-Warner are already rolling out. MCI and NBC have also begun a trial with the DST systems for these and other purposes. By the way, it appears that DST sales have been increasing nicely, so the future is also bright for this technology. AXC will profit from digital tv due to their wealth of patents related to digital tv transmission and technologies. Many of their patents will be key for whatever standard is chosen, and all manufacturers will have to pay the piper. A far as KM, I agree with a previous post that I would not be surprised if Ampex files their 10Q very late on 11/15 to still allow them to make their presentation and announcemnt? at the pre-COMDEX conference.
