Bob, ISDN has its problems. EIC (ME) seems to
be going down like Memotec (MCM,tse, ISDN/ATM/FR). Charts similar.
Maybe separation disease? ISDN downside is that reportedly it is hard to
install and rather expensive. Like $150 per month(?)
Note that Gandalf (GAN tse) is another ISDN firm, with good reviews.
The field is crowded.
EIC would have to have great assets (like patents, great workers) to
merit even a buyout.
I think that if it has only ISDN, it is missing the boat. MCM has
frame relays, ATM, as well as ISDN. Some cynics say ISDN stands for
"it still does nothing".
