I agree, it has that possible outcome if IBM were to buy NOVL out. They would definitly have their work cut out for them, and could easily benefit microsoft in a hypothetical aquisition. But this could be the case in any aquisition. Microsoft could easily buy them out (would the SEC allow it?) and incorporate Novell into it's big picture and be done with it. That would really scare me... Tom
