It has been said that every bubble, first destroys those that bet against it, and then proceeds to destroy those that play the bubble. Recent homebuyers and speculators that came too late into the game are perched on the edge of a cliff, staring into the abyss. At the same time, smart operators are totally out of the market, counting their profits and waiting for the next opportunity.
