......and this would not be an issue if we had a President with just a byte of integrity. That wasn't on the application. But I don't buy the integrity argument. Reagen had no integrity (Iran-Contra) if following the law is your control. Bush? Director of the CIA? I don't think so? How about Kennedy -- Operation Mongoose, Bay of Pigs, Marilyn Monroe. Johnson? No way. Maybe, just maybe, Jimmy Carter. And look what that got us. Oh, and how could I forget Nixon? Enough said. I think it could be argued that you can't make the decisions a President has to make and have integrity. You can keep your zipper closed, but there is precedent for this type of behavior, so what are we going to do? PUNT?
