Look, you can argue all you want, but the facts are in and well-established. I recommend you read some of the material, from credible sources, that explains this. I would recommend you start with Krauthammer's article which explains it in the simplest of terms.

The argument has nothing to do with what I or other conservatives would "like". It is a question of what we can afford. Conservatives, like liberals, would like to be able to give free medical care to everyone. It is just that we understand it isn't feasible or reasonable to do that.
