DishNetwork announced today that they have hit the 1,000,000 subscriber mark. Does anyone know how many subscribers they need before they become profitable? It seems like the dbs user tends to be the type of person who spends a lot more on pay-per- view events and other premium programming. The British direct broadcast company has a market capitiztion of over 12 Billion Dollars, yet DishNetwork's market cap is only about five hundred million (and the U.S. has five times the population of the U.K.!). I think this is a great long-term bet, but am disappointed with the recent weakness. I also think this is the only pure direct broadcast play. MV BABER
