BOB alert! Schneider is a fantastic showman. He has a very strong voice too. He's been a mainstay of the Austin music scene for years. My first encounter involved an infamous band called "JOE ROCKHEAD"..they were the absolute sh*t when it came to party/jam/funk. Bob then formed the "Ugly Americans"..also a great band with a more pop edge but dirty lyrics...that band evolved into the SCABS, which as you know is nasty as they wanna be. He then started playing a sitdown kind of thing with some cats that was really quite mellow, but excellent. They were called "Lonelyland"..going to a Lonelyland show was as easy on the eyes as it gets..WOW! WHere do all these beautiful young girls come from and who's driving them home...cause they be drunken winches by the time it ends. Bob then somehow seduced Miss Bullock from the stage and she managed to get several of his songs on her last movie soundtrack as well as landing him a spot on Leno one night. The kid is a superstar..I've always known it since the first time I saw him live. He's sober now and I bet you he is HUGE given the right opportunities. I think it was the first guest on LENO without a recording contract..ever. HIs new CD has Sandra's deceased mother singing the opera part on the first ready for radio hit they play. WHO? I was seriously thinking about catching that show in Dallas but life got in the way. Townshend has no peer IMO The VIX charts you posted leave little room for interpretation...it seems that we are at a top even though the PIFF philosophy might disagree
