El. This reminds me a lot of the Nortel mis-communication last fall. Nortel was not clear on what they actually said and the analysts assumed they meant earnings would not meet expectations. It turned out to be an outstanding buying opportunity. The day after the mess, Nortel tried to clarify what they said but they further confused the issue (sound like CPQ?). It seems to me that CPQ has only said that Jan and early Feb were below their expectations. You know CPQ better than I, what are the chances they will clarify what was said?

Unless we get a clear warning, a la press release, that CPQ will miss their numbers then I expect they will be in the 33&cent range which will exceed consensus and move it towards new resistance at $40. Everyone is focused on slowed sales of PIIs but wouldn't PIIIs sell at a relatively high margin for the first few months?

Stuart.
