A Mulberry tree in my back yard had two huge limbs split off and fall on a perfectly calm day, there had been a big storm a week before......no advanced noise or warning signs.

Ditto here for knowing someone dying via tree falling.....most folks that have spent very much time with chainsaws and/or clearing land can tell of more than one "close call".
