CNBC is pretty much like most other "mainstream" news media, where it's either superficial propaganda or else exaggerations designed to whip everyone into a frenzy over nothing.

I treat this stuff more or less like elevator music.

What is so wonderful is that we have so much access to quality information once you step outside the CNBCs of the world.

Anyway a friend of mine pointed out that the market behavior recently has been like "bulls and bears in a china shop".
