I'll tell you who -- the American taxpayer.

These companies are permanent wards of the state. Never, again, will the capital markets provide the financing these companies need to break away from the government.

And as UAW continues to suck the life blood out of both of them, the American taxpayer will continue to infuse them with OUR tax dollars, even though most of us wouldn't take one of these government produced vehicles if we had to.

Even after forking over $4,000 in free money the federal government couldn't move these POS vehicles. People lined up to buy cars built in other countries and without UAW involvement.

I'm sorry, but as a taxpayer the sooner these turds go out of business the better off this country will be.
