Your ideas about republicans are based on what you've heard your democrat peers and the MSM say over the years, and like all the rest of the liberal lemmings of the world you've believed every word you've ever heard. I'll bet you've never even once bothered to question their statements. Doesn't it bother you that you have such narrow vision, and lack the ability to be skeptical? Doesn't it bother you that you have such a hateful and malevolent opinion of at least 1/2 of your fellow Americans? How do you ever expect to solve the serious problems that plague our nation when you irresponsibly label and stereotype the very people you need? Then you come to LBs thread acting like you want an adult conversation, all the while hiding your true beliefs and running like a child when they are finally revealed. I was enjoying reading the dialogue, but am happy you decided to split the scene. If there's one thing conservatives can't stand, it's people with hidden agendas. Call me a meany and a bully, but in my mind I know I'm a realist and accept the fact that there are millions of people who have a stake in this country and that we don't all think alike or always agree. I know it takes sitting down and talking through ideas, and that sometimes those talks are painful, but that if people persist and get beyond preconceived notions, real solutions can be found. Anything is possible, but you have to start out believing that the people you are dealing with care as much about the problems and wish just as much as you do that as a nation we can work out our differences and move forward. IOW there has to be trust. It is impossible to do that when a person is full the kind of BS perceptions that you harbor. Come back when you grow up and want a real conversation.
