"Why did RNWK just buy the company that made production software?" VIVO had some tools sets for the Mac that REAL did not have and great talented people (they all moved to Seattle.) Another interesting point here is that there are some smaller companies out there that have both talent and products. RNWK has another advantage over Microsoft right now in that Microsoft may want to buy some of these companies but can't becouse of the DOJ investigation on MS's buying/investing in all of them. RNWK can run around MS vs. DOJ and buy companies like VIVO where as Microsoft would be extremly visable. At this point Microsoft may be willing for a long time to let RNWK take more controll over this area and just license the stuff from RNWK. This situation could be very simular to the Microsoft/Citrix relationship that Citrix won out on Big Time. Wish I could Playallday - Good Luck
