John,
If what Steven Sprague said is still true, the stock should behave as you predict. However, Intel will have a whole new generation of chips shipping in new systems by then, and the industry will have made quantum leaps in new technologies. 7 Months is such an excrutiatingly long time in this business. Is there a new generation Wave chip on the horizon?, an innovation in the technology?, or is this the same old Wave chip we have been waiting for for the last year or so. Time, in my experience, is the enemy of the best of deals.
