victor: In either case, a black hole would indeed represent the antithesis of a vacuum. An imploding vacuum ceases to be a vacuum at the instant of implosion; the infamous Black Hole of Calcutta, despite the best efforts of Sabu to represent it otherwise, was a teeming ghetto.
There are some who suggest that CPQ is, metaphorically speaking, a "dying star." If we accept this, then CPQ and all of its satellite bodies, including the minor suns and moons on this and similar threads, will be bound to the center more and more tightly as its mass builds prior to nova. Not a pretty picture. M2
