briefing.com on Computer Networking today (they seem to do better when they just report the news) Remains a story of the have and have nots, only problem is that there seem to be fewer and fewer haves these days... Cisco (CSCO +4 1/2) and Ascend (ASND +2 5/8) continued to distance themselves from the rest of the pack... Bay (BAY) only other stock to end up more than one point, though it had as much to do with Nortel's (NT) gain than anything else. 3Com (COMS) remains group whipping boy... After losing 11/32 yesterday, stock has given back nearly all of its earnings-related rally.
