Interesting article.

But note that this is for a "business PC." These usually have smaller HDDs, slower graphics, no on-board sound, and none of the software goodies that usually come with a "consumer" PC, though they often come with a network card pre-installed.

As a result, typical pricing is $100-200 cheaper than a "consumer" PC with the same processor. Which is about right. 233MHZ PII machines are getting phased out, but would typically sell in the $1300-$1400 range.

Celeron is targeted at the $1000-1200 CONSUMER market, and will probably find it's way down below $1000 pretty quickly.
