Wireless is the largest & fastest growing part of VLSI, and 98 was down significantly due to order shortfalls at Ericsson. The street is missing a key development - Management said in the CC that other major wireless customers are now reducing VLSI's reliance on Ericsson; Then they stated Ericsson's percentage would remain about constant. This is a subtle admission that Ericsson orders are indeed improving, something I think has been missed. Since this has been a relatively recent development since the beginning of the year, perhaps management wants to wait and see the trend develop further before any optimistic pronouncements. Jim
