I don't know, but maybe:
IBM/Compaq et al, (maintaining a competitive environment).
100 MHz socket 7 chip set makers
100 MHZ socket 7 M/B makers
$599 PC makers, (which I think are on the horizon).
NC makers
Low profile/low physical volume box makers
Set-top box makers
And the performance issues of Celeron are still not clear, at least to me.
Hey, I'm not an AMD/Cyrix lover, but I am interested in their impact on Intel and the PC market. (Which seems to have been considerable over the last year).
With the '98 consensus at $3.30, and '99 way down, taking a pragmatic approach to the competition seems wise.
