[Off Topic] [Chat] Hi, Rainier.

Sorry I've been remiss in thanking you for the reply regarding gold and your observations regarding current market conditions. I am not a finance major however the >>increased willingness of companies to lure talent with higher salaries<< makes me think of lay offs to compensate for the cost of the incresed talent (kinda like an efficiency expert would prescribe ... 2 or 3 of lesser talent for 1 super talent). And if that's the case, where would that take us? Well, normally I would think unemployment goes up ... stocks go up... BUT we've been having lay-offs (i.e., EK, et al ...) and the market has not responded thusly. Again, I'm not a finance major. What am I missing?

Came across the following while doing my DD. Thought you might find Dr. Acharya's insights interesting ... I know I did.

techstocks.com

It's been a real challenge trying to read charts "post-crash" ... (like it wasn't a real challenge before! Ha!!)

Hope all is going well with school.

Take care,

Carol

P.S. Have you come across any interesting patterns/triangles lately?
I try to follow up when anyone points them out ... the more I see, the more I learn. This is not an easy science and requires a lot of DD.
:o)
