RtS, I'm with Gottfried on this one. The negativity out there is too much. I don't see how new lows can be set when all the analysts are cutting estimates, reducing ratings, etc, on a daily basis. Many times there are 2 or 3 "hits" throughout the day by the analysts. I'm convinced they all get together overnight and decide who is going to go first the next day.<gg>
All the hard data doesn't show the world is coming to an end. As a matter of fact, just the opposite is true. Based on posts of charts and fundamental data by many posters on this thread, a slow, CONSTANT, recovery has been underway for several months. This is shown by Gottfried's charts as well as other data - but nobody is paying any attention.
I have to ask - what is going to drive the market to new lows when we have been in a recovery, albeit a slow one, for several months now? The analysts can keep beating the drum, but I don't think they are going to get the job done. In the meantime, they will be loading up on a lot of cheap shares. JMO
