MrB: Re: >>never provided me with stock options, contract, or company t-shirt<<
I thought you understood our arrangement. We agreed on the phone that you would continue your seminar schedule where you hype our company, our products, and our pre-IPO stock ... while simultaneously claiming that you have no ties with the company. And, if anybody actually researched our files (if they could ever find any, that is) they'd find that you truly had no documented evidence of connection.
In return, the day before our IPO, I will transfer the pre-IPO shares that have been reserved for "promotional activities" to you. And, at that time, you will get your very own company t-shirt.
We came to this understanding after I realized that you were actually going to have to perform some productive activities. As you know, that is explicitly prohibited by our charter. This arrangement was the only one we could work that was mutually acceptable.
If this is not the agreement as you understand it, please contact me immediately. Provide a place and time where we can meet. Someplace where there aren't many people. Someplace where a gunshot wouldn't attract attention.
