I only saw one link to it. It does NOT ignore the assassination of his two brothers or the impact their deaths must have had on his life - that was certainly addressed in the article. I see it as little excuse. We should expect all our public figures to behave privately better than Kennedy did. He treated women like kleenex and ended up throwing one's life away to avoid a DUI arrest. He deserves infamy for that. When Kennedy was getting drunk and fooling with all those women......he wasn't married Much of the time he was as the article made clear. Of course, this was a family tradition for the Kennedys. the author didn't think a man of his stature should cavort in that way. Frankly, it was none of his business. I know liberals don't have any expectations for their leaders. They can literally kill people and they'll be forgiven as Ted showed. See that's the difference between a Sanford and a Kennedy or a Vitter and a Kennedy. One difference between the right and left is Sanford and Vitter will pay for their transgressions the nest time an election rolls around. Ted Kennedy got things done. He changed civil rights laws, impacted education, worked to change the health care system in this country, helped the common man, et al. He was for civil rights when his party reversed course on it. His brother had bugged MLK before that. You all need to try and work through your jealousy.......you will be healthier for it. Sure, I'm jealous. You realize I could live exactly like Kennedy if I chose. There are bars, strippers, and massage parlors galore in Houston.
