And the new versions of Gnome are really, really good... No longer just a rought outview of how it will be, but actually something better than the Microsoft GUI. It still needs installation and configuration tools, but that doesn't matter on corporate computers, where you have trained people, or on embedded devices, where things are preinstalled and preconfigured.
