Re: Micron PC's

Brendan,

There has recently been a BIG shakeup in MUEI. A new CEO and 4 or 5 top executives within the past couple months. They have significantly reduced their prices and have entered into the $1k cpu arena. This company was dying and drastic steps were necessary, IMO. I believe that the announcement about the zip replacing the floppy was from old management. The economies of $1k competition are hurting the zip drive oem inclusion everywhere including Micron. KE knew this was a problem during the last conference call and that's a significant reason for the $100M advertising campaign. To try to get people to need and therefore purchase accessory zip drives.
