You take them as just some magical thing called emergence happens for no reason.....sheesh, the force is weak in this one, back to ignoring complex structures are built up on successive layers of simpler structures, the cell machinery has a purpose to locomote, interact with the environment, to absorb & excrete, to eat, take in & process energy.
In effect to reproduce and survive and there's your implied purpose, call it hungry chemistry in the beginning, for after God created man he created fruti tuti & nuts to feed him!.
How does it all happen? Speculation is under way, but evolution desribes beautifully a succession
of many steps,one layer at a time, built up thru time, after all the universe was fine tuned wasn't it? |
