True Frank it is poor inventory management. Unfortunately this can be an effect of moving to a just-in-time inventory. It often takes time to get the supply to meet the demand. I would agree that having a slight over supply would have been healthier and would avoid customers grabbing the competitor's product. It is not a good sign. You lose one customer, you have lost them for a very long time.
