Given the information available today, I generally agree with your
comments. However a lot of scientists think that the computers of
the future will not be the same as today (unlike cars). Who would
have thought two years ago of the explosive growth of the internet.
It may not be economic reasons why people stop buying PC's but
technological reasons.
