Mr Karl Rolke reports
At the extraordinary meeting in November shareholders approved the issuance
of two million warrants and up to two million shares in connection with the
company's Indonesian joint venture with Voisey Bay Resources and Indotan.
The shareholders also approved the private placement of 4,495,400 shares to
Hartford Securities at $0.35 and authorized the company to exceed the TSE's
25% rule relating to private placements.
The private placement closes on November 25 1996.
