To All - Take a look at a company called Certicom (CIC.TSE) and ask yourself if Jaws couldn't do the same thing. I've converted all prices to $US.

Certicom came out with a 3M share IPO at $2.00 in December of 1995. In less than 2 years, October 1997, the price was $32.00 - current price is $14.00. The company's basic business is to supply encryption to smart cards. Let's see how they've done.

Current shares outstanding - 9.6M, float, 9M
Market Cap - $134M; highest market cap - $310M

1998 4th Q sales - $552K
1997 4th Q sales - $213K

1998 4th Q loss - $2.66M
1997 4th Q loss - $1.83M

Do you think Jaws could do that? Remember, Jaws only has 6.7M shares outstanding with, at most, a 1.7M share float. Later, I'll try to post some revenue projections for Jaws to see how the company stacks up vs. Certicom.
