IPC:s 50/50 partner in Papua Nya Guinea (Block PPL-152), Oil Search Ltd, published their 4th quarter report yesterday. The following is relevant to Lundin Oils Pandora project: <<PNG-to-Queensland gas pipeline project is now at a very important stage with discussions taking place with various customers to underpin market demand. These include Stanwell Destec for power generation in Townsville and Comalco in Gladstone, central Queensland. Further work is also being carried out to refine the capital requirements for the project. "We remain convinced that the fundamentals of a successful project, based on reasonable assumptions, are there to move this project from a concept to reality," Oil Search chairman Kennedy said.>> wr.com.au
