SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 3, 1999--The Fabless Semiconductor Association (FSA) recognized Genesis Microchip (Nasdaq:GNSS) as an Outstanding Financial Performer at the FSA's fifth Anniversary Dinner Celebration on Dec. 2, 1999. The event attracted more than 1,000 of the industry's top executives.
The FSA recognized those companies that doubled revenue or net income year-over-year for the twelve-month period ending September 1999. Genesis Microchip was one of the winners of the Outstanding Financial Performance awards. The company's year-over-year revenue growth was 189 percent. This is the fourth consecutive year Genesis has won this prestigious award, an unprecedented achievement for an FSA member.
