Hi Robert Nice to see You back. There was a very crowded session in Stockholm about CTD 2.0. The main new thing is full support to MTS (Microsoft transaction server). Joe Falcone (architect of Inprise Delphi) is very exited about CTD (and told us, that he always have looked to Gupta/Centura as ahead of Delphi). With CTD, they work very closely with Microsoft and even testing and developing it to next generation of Windows (after Windows 2000). Microsoft have also promised the marketing support to CTD 2.0. So, the promise to get true 3 tier client-server out is coming to be true. If You still wait JAVA, it won't be delivered until SUN start to get JAVA seriously. Current SUN's JAVA revenues are coming from T-Shirts and coffee mugs. Veiko
