Micro transactions are indeed where it is going to be. Millicent does something simular as does Cybercash although I don't know how small a transaction is possible with these systems. They are all software based. Steven Sprague mentioned that Wave was accepting payments with other systems in some fashion, and that is an intriguing idea.

The only thing that worries me is the timing factor, the chip has got to get into the game and into the public's mind as soon as possible. Millicent sounds like a girl you would never date and Cybercash sounds a little robotic. Wave has some Pizazz but if the boards dont get into the water so to speak, they will miss the wave.
