Nothing personal really! 1) Apple still makes a lot of money off Macs. 2) Macs are integrated machines unlike Wintel machines. 3) Apples hub strategy (assumption) revolves around integrating their OS with their own peripherals like the iPod. I can't see ANY reasons they'd spin off computers. Again nothing personal but what reasons do you see that would make this make sense? -- IBM wasn't making any money on personal computers. They were making a lot of money on consulting.
