I'm a UK holder of Cisco sice April 1997 and despite the carnage I'm still around 200% up since then. However I've been well stuffed in this market as have many other people but I'm holding long term and obviously hope for some sort of recovery. However I have to express my concern about Greenspan's actions. The stock market seemed to see the signs of recession coming long before he did OR if he did see it coming he was more interested in teaching investors a lesson rather than taking action at an early point to avoid recession.

If the reduction in the stock market leads US consumers to lose confidence then the loss of jobs caused by that will be down to one man IMO.

Just a limey letting off steam!

Good luck to all Cisco holders, I think we deserve a little!.
