Okay thank you.. I hadn't looked at the UEC intraday chart for Friday

as you said, there are big volume outliers late Friday for many, many stocks.. PRC another example

..screwing up the charts and making my routine look at abnormal upside volume gainers a waste of time this weekend

I think it has to do w/ the russell index rebalancing.
