Rose, what I like most about your posts is that your brain is always spinning for more creative and innovative ways to make money. LOL! If only I followed through on half of them. Actually, it's not greed, or a desire to "beat the system", just the fascination inherent in exploring all the intricacies and nuances of an insanely complex subject like investments vs. taxes. I never mind paying what I owe (especially at LT rates!), but I sure do want to know what my alternatives are. BTW don't know how IRS would treat that spread. You know what? From all that I've researched and read, neither does the IRS. <g> -Rose-
