Gary, it would be nice if all of us got out at 51 and buy back for 44. :-) As a long term holder I didn't worry much about the drop. We'll see ASND back to 50's in no time. Personally I don't think ASND management teams are stupid. They have draw the plan to follow through. Think about it carefully if the rumor is true, temporary it does hurt the stock a bit because Wall street don't like it, but for the long run, hey it can be a good deal (SRA finance is solid, good company) and who knows, the merger might make ASND more attractive to LU strategy. No body knows ASND's move better than Mr. Mory and his team. Just my cheap thought. Duke

- Ascend jumped into the IP telephony market last month with the announcement of its MultiVoice strategy. The company said it will introduce products that support voice over IP, frame relay and ATM networks. Ascend will also enhance its IP Navigator management product to support an absolute QoS for voice delivered over these types of networks.
